Assistant Law Librarian -Temporary

Legal Services of New Jersey, a non-profit legal organization representing low-income clients in civil legal matters, seeks a librarian to assist in managing electronic statewide information resources and to provide comprehensive library services.

Responsibilities include collection development/acquisitions, reference, training, budgeting, archiving, knowledge management including expanding electronic document bank, and assisting with web pages. MLS from an ALA-accredited school, several years library experience (law library or similar environment as well as library management strongly preferred), proficiency in Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw and Internet searching, and basic principles of web design, experience using MS Office Suite and XP operating system.
