**Following Snapshot Day, October 24, New Jersey libraries and their communities faced a devastating hurricane and a snowstorm. With service to your communities a priority, submitting photos and statistics from Snapshot was, understandably, placed on the back burner. The new requested date for submission of your statistics has been extended from Nov. 7 to Nov. 27.
Snapshot Day Details:
Get ready to take a "snapshot" of your library on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 for the Fourth Annual Library Snapshot Day across New Jersey, sponsored by the NJ State Library and the NJ Library Association.
- Document a typical day in your NJ library.
- Collect statistics, stories, photographs, and videos to illustrate how libraries are being used.
- All NJ libraries are encouraged to participate on October 24 or anytime during the surrounding two-week period.
**New this Year: New Jersey Library Roadshow Tour**
A team led by Andy Woodworth and Sophie Brookover, and a State Library team comprising the State Library's Library Development Bureau and Marketing staff will travel the state, reporting in real-time on the Snapshot Day happenings.
